The Department of Theatre and Performance is a department with a reputation for excellence in teaching and research, with strengths in European theatre history, Musical Theatre, World theatre, Sociology of the theatre, Postcolonial theatre, Intercultural theatre, Dramatic Literature, and Practice as Research. The Department currently offers three Single Honours degrees with BA Drama and Theatre Arts; BA Musical Theatre; and BA Performance, Politics and Society.
About the role
The Senior Administrator will be responsible for the Department’s administrative processes and will help organise physical and professional staff resources and finances. You will work closely with the Head of Department on all aspects of running our busy academic department, from making sure core student processes work smoothly to helping with strategic planning.
About the candidate
You will be friendly, flexible and have great communication skills. You will have substantial administrative/organisational experience gained within higher education and the ability to smoothly juggle multiple demands. You will lead a team to deliver work to deadlines, and always prioritise excellent student experience.
