Lecturer in Arts, Education and Learning
The Department of Educational Studies are looking for an artist educator with experience of delivering practical studio based teaching and theory led seminar discussions along with familiarity in online teaching environments.
Reporting to the Head of Department and the Head of Programme, the role holder will be expected to primarily contribute to the planning, teaching and assessment activities on the MA Arts and Learning programme. In addition, they will work with the Arts Education team in developing existing and new course materials to enhance the learning experience of students.
The post holder will principally contribute to the MA in Arts and Learning, and depending on timetabling requirements, to the BA (Hons) Education, Culture and Society programmes. You will be expected to lead modules in your specialist areas and to contribute to other modules as necessary. Please note that all Masters programmes in the Department of Educational Studies are taught in the evenings and you will therefore be required to teach on at least one evening a week but no more than two. On some modules a small number of sessions take place in galleries in the London area.
