How to Apply

Finding vacancies

Our current vacancies are listed on this website and can be filtered by role type (e.g. academic or professional services) and working pattern (full-time or part-time).

Once you create an account, you can also set up email alerts to stay up to date with our latest opportunities.

How to apply

If you are interested in a position, click the Apply Online button within the job advert. You will be prompted to register and create an account (if you have not already done so) or log in to your existing account.

Please ensure you provide an email address that you check regularly, as this will be our primary method of communication regarding your application.

If you require assistance at any stage of the process, please contact our Recruitment Team.

All applications must be submitted online by midnight (UK time) on the closing date.

Why do I have to register?

Registering ensures that users acknowledge the website’s Terms of Use and gain access to a personalised area, My Applications. This dedicated section allows you to efficiently manage your application to the University.

All information is stored securely and remains inaccessible to the University until you formally submit your application.

Completing the application form

The online application form can be completed in stages, allowing you to log in and out at any time before submission. Your progress is automatically saved as you enter information.

You can move freely between sections of the form and access guidance at each stage to support you in completing your application.

Before final submission, you will have the opportunity to preview your application and make any necessary amendments.

After you apply

Once you have submitted your application, its status will appear as “Submitted” in the My Applications section of your account, along with the date of submission.

You will receive an acknowledgement email the following day.

After Closing Date

Following the closing date, the selection panel will assess all applications against the criteria outlined in the job description and person specification. The panel will then inform the Recruitment Team of their decision.

All candidates will be notified of the outcome of their application. Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret that we are unable to provide feedback to candidates who are not shortlisted. Feedback will always be offered to candidates who attend an interview.
