We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Room Booking Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for all room booking enquiries, ensuring efficient scheduling and excellent service delivery across our estate. Your attention to detail and organisational skills will help support smooth operations and a positive experience for all users of our spaces.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage room booking requests via email, phone, and booking systems
  • Maintain accurate records of bookings and usage
  • Resolve booking conflicts and provide alternative solutions when necessary
  • Support the setup of rooms for meetings and events as required
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff, visitors, and stakeholders
  • Assist with reporting and data entry related to room usage and trends

About You:

  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confident using booking systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving
  • Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role is desirable
