About the Role

The successful candidate will work as part of a small team to support the university’s engagement with racial justice.  This will primarily involve leading in the development, design and analysis of an internal audit to explore how the College engages with racial justice and to identify areas for improvement. They will work strategically to build relationships with staff, faculty and students across the university in order to ensure the successful delivery of this project.  The successful candidate will be managed by Dr Nicola Rollock and based within the Executive & Governance team.

About the Candidate

Applicants should be educated to Masters level or equivalent in the social sciences; have experience of carrying out research projects including carrying out focus groups and interviews; be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the higher education context and, importantly, possess a strong practical understanding of racial justice. Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis is strongly desirable as is an ability to work with a range of stakeholders. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and spoken English are essential.
