About the Department

Visual Cultures is a vibrant and research-active department in the School of Culture and Society. We pride ourselves on an interdisciplinary and innovative approach to learning and teaching, specialising in contemporary art history and theory, curating, and research architecture. We ask how these fields engage with urgent social, cultural, and political issues in the world today.

About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Department, the role holder will be expected to participate in the Department’s teaching programme by contributing to module assessments, personal tutor support, and administrative support.

About the Candidate

PhD essential. Experience teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and knowledge of visual culture preferred.
