About the Subject

About the Role

We are seeking a Lecturer in Science Education to join our PGCE Secondary Science team. The role involves delivering subject sessions, supervising trainee teachers, undertaking school visits, assessing assignments, and contributing to curriculum development. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to Primary Science and wider departmental teaching.

About the Candidate

You will be an experienced secondary school science teacher with QTS. You will expertise in at least one or more of these subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will bring expertise in mentoring or teacher development and a strong commitment to supporting diverse trainee cohorts.
