About the Department

The Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE) is a highly innovative centre for arts/creative/cultural management, cultural policy, entrepreneurship, and international retail business, sustainability and technologies with a worldwide reputation for excellence in research and teaching. ICCE has approximately twenty-eight academic staff and many associate lecturers who are responsible for five MAs, one BA, and a PG Certificate.

 

About the Role

The role is for a (fixed-term, 0.25 FTE) Lecturer in the field of international retail business, sustainability and technology. The position holder is expected to be responsible for teaching on the MA International Retail Business, Sustainability and Technology programme, developing and delivering associated teaching content, and for tutoring and supervising MA students. You will work closely with other lecturers on the programme and take on administrative duties.

 

About the Candidate

You will have a master's degree or PhD in the fields of international retail business, sustainability and technology or appropriate related discipline, experience in developing and delivering retail business, cultural and creative industries education to students or entrepreneurs, and a proven track record in developing the skills education profile of HE students. You may also have worked within a creative or cultural start-up or developed your own creative organisation.
