What makes Goldsmiths unique?

Goldsmiths is a world-renowned university with a reputation for innovative academic work that has creativity at its heart. Academic excellence and imaginative course content combine to make a place where creative minds can thrive.

About the School

Goldsmiths Online and Adaptable Learning (GOAL) was set up with the mission to provide an integrated learning eco-system that highlights what is best about Goldsmiths and reaches the people who can most benefit from what Goldsmiths has to offer, irrespective of physical location, time commitments, and educational backgrounds.

You will work closely within the School of Computing and with our delivery partners to create and deliver online and hybrid teaching across the College.  The School of Computing at Goldsmiths is a vibrant, innovative and intellectually stimulating environment in which to work and study. Over the last two decades, we have developed a unique view of computing as a creative practice-based discipline: we pride ourselves on pushing the boundaries of computer science research to the limits of other disciplines. We also take pride on our mission of teaching students to be innovative and practical professionals, to be able to think for themselves, and to bring creative solutions to employers and to society.

About the Role

We are looking for people who can teach modules across several programmes in Computing, specifically within the subject area of Computer Science and AI. Teaching will be delivered both online and on-campus.

Benefits

We have generous benefits – an agile working environment, 28 days’ annual leave plus 6 paid closure days (4 at Christmas and 2 at Easter) plus all Bank Holidays, great transport links, a defined benefit pension scheme, support for professional development and a broad range of wellbeing initiatives such as staff choir, running club and creative writing classes.
