Lecturer in Anthropology
You will join a dynamic Anthropology department offering a range of undergraduate and post-graduate programs in an institution specializing in the social sciences and arts and humanities.
The Department has an international reputation for excellence in teaching, research and creative work as demonstrated in the results of the 2014 Research Excellence Framework. You will have a PhD, teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and administrative experience.
You will be expected to participate fully in teaching, departmental service and administration. The normal teaching load is approximately 5 modules per annum, including core and option modules across the curriculum, as well as MA and research student supervision. Members of the Department also serve on a variety of Department and College committees and participate in external engagement activities.
No particular regional specialisms are required: we are open to applicants expertise across all areas of the discipline and with a track record of innovative teaching practice and design that will help to sustain and develop our existing programs. We also welcome applicants who would like to fill this position as part of a job share.
