We are seeking to appoint a permanent, 0.7 FTE Lecturer on a Teaching & Research post in Sociology with expertise in Global Criminology, Criminal Justice and/or Human Rights with experience in programme leadership and curriculum development, especially at undergraduate level. Criminology at Goldsmiths is a growing field of teaching and research.  It is situated between the subject areas of law and sociology and follows a global and critical approach. This post offers an exciting opportunity to develop Goldsmiths’ distinctive offer in Criminology and provide leadership in teaching and research in that area. The successful candidate will thrive in an interdisciplinary working environment. An expertise in global criminology and criminal justice is essential, but we are open to different specialisms within those areas.

The post will be based in the School of Global Change, home of Anthropology, Sociology, Politics and IR, History and Law at Goldsmiths. We anticipate that the successful candidate will teach on programmes across Law and Sociology.
