Lecturer A/B in Arts Management
About the Department
The Institute for Creative and Cultural Entrepreneurship (ICCE) is a highly innovative centre for creative/cultural management, cultural policy, and entrepreneurship, with a worldwide reputation for excellence in research and teaching. ICCE has approximately twenty-eight academic staff and many associate lecturers who are responsible for five MAs, one BA, and a PG Diploma.
About the Role
The role holder will teach undergraduate modules in the department, including required modules in BA in Arts Management and optional modules in the entrepreneurial experience in creative industries, supervise undergraduate dissertations, conduct research, publish, and seek funding in a specialist area related to the remit of ICCE, supervise PhD students, and undertake administrative duties as required.
About the Candidate
You will have a PhD and teaching experience in arts management or a related field, along with a strong publication record. Additional, practical experience in the arts or cultural industries is welcome. You will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, enthusiasm for the role, and a proven ability to support students and work well with others in an academic setting.
