This is an exciting time to be joining the Careers Service team at Goldsmiths, University of London, as the College seeks to increase the range of opportunities available for its students to gain relevant skills and experience during their time at Goldsmiths and to expand its network of graduate recruiters.  This is all aimed at supporting students before, during and after their time at Goldsmiths to succeed in the graduate labour market or develop their own ideas for running a business or freelancing.

This role is an opportunity for a dynamic marketing professional with a passion for excellent customer service and engaging with employers to join the University. Based within the Careers Service, which is part of the Student Experience Directorate, this role leads our work in supporting student employability through work-based learning and engaging with employers. The successful applicant will hold a relevant degree and relevant recent experience. Excellent communication, planning, leadership, negotiation, IT and organisational skills are all essential, as is the ability to work innovatively, with accuracy, attention to detail and a customer focus.

This role also involves working in partnership with Research & Enterprise and Alumni teams on employer-facing projects, liaising with academic departments to ensure the smooth running of the work placement module and advising governance & legal teams on relevant employment legislation and compliance procedures.

This post operates on a full time basis, within the hours of Monday – Friday 9 - 5pm.  Occasional evening / weekend working may be required, although this would be minimal.

Please note that you are welcome to submit a CV or additional documents but you must complete all sections of the application form, including the essential and desirable criteria. Failure to complete these sections may result in your application being disregarded.

We are committed to equality. All applications will be judged solely on merit, however, we particularly welcome applications from groups currently under-represented in the workforce, for example black and minority ethnic groups and those with disabilities.
