The Careers Service supports students through its staff in Advice & Guidance, Employer Engagement and Placements, Student Enterprise and Skills teams, as the College seeks to increase the range of opportunities available for its students to gain relevant skills and experience during their time at Goldsmiths and understand how to articulate them effectively to employers. This is all aimed at supporting students before, during and after their time at Goldsmiths to succeed in the graduate labour market or develop their own ideas for running a business or freelancing. 

This role is an opportunity for a dynamic marketing professional with a passion for excellent customer service and engaging with employers to join the University. 

Based within the Careers Service, which is part of the Student Experience Directorate, this role makes a key contribution to our work in supporting student employabilityand engaging with employers, particularly in employer relationship management and event organisation. The post holders will work in partnership across the University and with employers to source and promote graduate opportunities and part time jobs to current students and organise employer events.

The successful applicant will hold relevant A levels / BTEC/ degreeand relevant recent experience.Excellent communication, relationship building, marketing and organisational skills are all essential, as is the ability to work innovatively, with accuracy, good attention to detail and customer focus.

This post operates on a full time basis, within the hours of Monday – Friday 9 – 5pm. Occasional evening / weekend working may be required, although this would be minimal and time off in lieu would be applied. 

This post is offered initially as a fixed term contract until 23/12/22, but with the potential for extension for the longer term.
