Jobs at Goldsmiths
Development and Alumni Database Assistant
The Development and Alumni Office is responsible for building a culture of support for Goldsmiths through philanthropy, collaboration and advocacy. We do this through our major giving campaigns and via our multi-channel regular giving campaign, Giving to Goldsmiths. Funding secured supports scholarships and student bursaries, capital projects and other projects that underpin Goldsmiths’ teaching and research. Our alumni relations programme incorporates a range of on and offline communications, events and alumni services and benefits. It also facilitates opportunities for alumni to give back through volunteering.
The Database Assistant will work across the Development and Alumni Office to support these activities through updating the alumni database - Raiser's Edge - with new information, running queries, exports and reports, along with ensuring the integrity of the information held.
The post holder does not require any technical database skills as training will be given, but an aptitude and interest in working with databases is essential. You will need strong Excel or Access skills, an eye for detail, and be enthusiastic about developing new skills. As the role involves working with personal data, you should have some knowledge of current data protection regulations.
The role is fixed term for one year.
