We are looking for a marketer to support Goldsmiths’ corporate marketing initiatives and objectives while also being flexible to support our wider Communication, Marketing and Recruitment (CMR) Directorate’s activities. We have a number of profit-making functions (such as short courses and conference venue hire) that need expert help in reaching customers.

Note this role is part-time at 3 days/21 hours a week.

What you will do

You’ll be responsible for working with the relevant teams to develop integrated marketing plans, producing marketing content (print, digital, copy and creative) to promote these areas and achieve their strategic objectives.

When required you will also need to work on delivering key strategic marketing activities for other Goldsmiths activities.

You should be familiar with the use of a range of marketing platforms and have first-hand experience of delivering a wide variety of marketing using an omni-channel approach both paid and organic. You will need to have a good understanding and experience of web content, email CRM campaigns and social media channels, and be comfortable liaising with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

We are currently operating hybrid working. You will be in the office at least one day a week, which is a ‘core’ day when the whole team is in. This role is not being offered as remote working only.

Where the role sits

This role sits within the Marketing and Events team within the CMR Directorate.

What the successful candidate needs

You will have experience in working on small and medium sized campaigns, identifying target audiences and finding the most effective way of reaching them. You will know how to put together measurable campaign plans and be used to getting involved with the delivery of the campaigns.

You’ll also be a skilled at managing stakeholders with competing needs, helping them with their requirements, diplomatically managing expectations and ensuring they work to our marketing strategy.

Applying for the role

We can only accept applications using our online application form. We cannot accept CVs emailed directly to us.

You must complete the Essential and Desirable Criteria sections of the application form by explaining how you meet the criteria within the Person Specification for the role.
