Business Systems Developer

An opportunity has arisen at Goldsmiths, University of London who are now looking for a developer to primarily support, develop and enhance our Business Systems for HR, Finance and Payroll functions.

This role will see you work in collaboration with leading technology vendors and University departments to ensure that the digital product solutions you support and develop are right at the leading edge of technology helping to drive efficiencies and add value throughout the University.

In this role, you’ll work on keeping up to date with vendor releases and researching capability, ongoing systems projects, new developments including configuration, system integration, drafting technical specifications, incident management analysis and fix and problem management to support, enable and improve the end user digital experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience of working with Business World - Unit4 ERP including the following modules: Financials (AP, AR, GL), Logistics. PCB, HR and Payroll
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to nontechnical people
  • Demonstrable problem and solution solving skills
  • Able to deliver projects in an AGILE environment
  • Strong customer focus
  • Good SQL and AG16 experience highly beneficial

The role will be an integral part of the Business Systems Team within the IT&IS department which is the beating heart of the organisation and provides software application support and technical services to the University.
