Assistant Department Business Manager
The Department of Social, Therapeutic and Community Studies (STaCS) offers an exciting range of academic and professional training programmes across three disciplinary areas: social work, therapeutic studies and community and youth work. The department combines a Widening Participation agenda with innovative and experiential teaching and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion among staff and students.
The Assistant Department Business Manager will have specific responsibility for the high-quality delivery of operational administrative functions. This role will be key to ensuring that strategic directions and milestones are kept firmly on track. You will be key to supporting the co-Heads of Department and the Departmental Business Manager, and liaising with the College’s other academic departments and professional services.
You will have experience of the Higher Education sector, understanding of the complex workings of an academic department; advanced personal and interpersonal skills, as well as skills in organisation, teamwork and planning.
