About the Role

This is a senior leadership role covering both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching on Acting and Directing specialisms throughout the curriculum; strategic student recruitment and overall oversight of a number of BA and MA programmes, including the BA Acting pathway and studio-based work on MA Screen Acting. Other duties include researching and creating outputs (practice and/or published); line-managing and mentoring a team of specialist tutors; liaising with technical and production staff and supporting industry contacts and partnerships for students. 

About the Candidate 

We are seeking an ambitious practitioner who has a developing academic profile evidenced through teaching, industry experience and career-level-appropriate outputs in the areas of actor training and directing pedagogy.  You will have experience working in line with sector-leading innovation in fostering inclusive, culturally-diverse, radically self-empowered, trauma-informed approaches to studio work that assist students to become articulate artists in their own right.
