The Secretariat team sits within the Governance and Legal Services Department which supports good governance for Goldsmiths and ensures compliance with its many statutory and regulatory responsibilities.
About the Role
The Governance Administrator will be part of a small team supporting Goldsmiths’ governance and legal services in the provision of high-level corporate administration support. Reporting into the Head of Secretariat, this is a great opportunity to join a higher education institution that offers a hybrid working environment, great opportunities for professional development. The role holder will work closely with members of the governance and legal teams assisting in diary management, email management and governance functions.
About the Candidate
We are looking for a dynamic and keen Governance Administrator to join our small friendly and busy team. This is a varied role that is part of a team that works closely with Council members and the Senior Management Team to ensure that our most senior decision-making meetings operate to a high-standard, fulfil their statutory and regulatory duties and deliver on Council’s ambitions for improved and streamlined processes.
Dependent on agile working approaches, the current requirement is not for attendance in the office every day. This will be subject to the demands of the role. As a result, excellent IT literacy, an ability to work effectively utilising Office 365 is necessary as well as the ability to work on your own initiative.
