Associate Dean (Faculty 2)

About the Faculty

As a member of the University Academic Management, reporting to the Executive Dean of Faculty, the Associate Dean will work with colleagues, students and external organisations, to support the faculty targets and ambitions in various respective areas across the college.

You will deliver the mission and objectives of the University and central to the vision, development and delivery of the University’s Education Strategy and lead the faculty towards academic excellence and strategic growth.

Faculty 2 delivers practices across interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative solutions by delivering approaches to address social, cultural, economic, and environmental challenges and opportunities.  Our wide range of disciplines including computing, social therapeutic and community studies, sociology, politics, history and law enrich social innovation by incorporating diverse perspectives and expertise.  The core aim is to facilitate meaningful real-world impact.

About the Role

You will be expected:

• To provide leadership across a full range of Learning, Teaching and Assessment (LTA), as well as student experience enhancement activities in their faculty.
• To provide deputising support for the Executive Dean in leading the overall educational, fiscal and operational performance and success of the faculty.
