Internal Secondment Opportunity – Expression of Interest

We are inviting expressions of interest from existing staff for a secondment opportunity.

This role is designed to provide academic leadership and support to key aspects of the research endeavour at Goldsmiths. The role holder will collaborate with academic colleagues across all Schools, and will work closely with the central Research and Knowledge Exchange department, to develop and implement new, or enhance existing, mechanisms for research peer review, ethics and integrity. The role holder will work towards the delivery of a stronger and distinctive research profile for Goldsmiths, actively contributing towards efforts to secure sizable and strategic external research funding. We will look to the role holder to help encourage the development of large grant applications and work with academic colleagues to effectively shape such applications, which may often be interdisciplinary in nature, involving more than one School. The role holder will also champion the institutional strategy for research and knowledge exchange, ensuring that its aims and priorities are reflected in policy and practice at the School level, and that such policy and practice align with the University’s broader interests and ambitions.

How to apply:

Please submit to Jennie San - J.San@gold.ac.uk

  • A brief expression of interest (maximum two A4 page) outlining your suitability and motivation for the role

  • An up-to-date CV

Deadline
