Academic excellence and imaginative course content combine to make a place where creative minds can thrive.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About the department</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">The Payroll and Pensions Team is comprised of three staff including this post, which reports to the Deputy Head of Payroll and Pensions who in turn reports to the Head of Payroll and Pensions. It is responsible for the College&rsquo;s payroll and pension administration. The payroll covers over 2,000 staff and the team also process a pensioner&rsquo;s payroll as well as ad-hoc payments and expenses on a weekly basis. The Team also records all necessary pension information for both the London Pension Fund Authority and the Universities Superannuation Schemes.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About the role</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will support the delivery of an accurate and efficient payroll service, processing payroll, pension and tax data to ensure staff are paid correctly and on time.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">Key responsibilities include:</p><ul type="disc"><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Processing payroll, pension, tax and statutory payments, including SSP and SMP.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Administering payroll deductions and maintaining accurate employee records.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Running payroll reports, checking data accuracy and making adjustments where required.</li><li style="margin-left:0cm;">Providing support and advice on payroll-related queries.</li></ul><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>About the candidate</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">You will be team player, a skilled and proficient payroll professional, with the capability of providing a range of payroll administrative tasks as required by Goldsmiths.</p><p style="margin-left:0cm;"><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p style="margin-left:0cm;">We have generous benefits &ndash; an agile working environment, 22 days&rsquo; annual leave plus six paid closure days (four at Christmas and two at Easter) plus all Bank Holidays, great transport links, a defined benefit pension scheme, support for professional development and a broad range of wellbeing initiatives such as staff choir, running club, staff networks and creative writing classes.</p><div style="font-family:'Segoe UI';font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:400;line-height:20px;"><br></div>
